20 Pay Final Expense
It is called 20 pay because you only have to pay for 20 years and you are paid off for life.This type of whole life insurance is very popular for individuals between 0 and 60 years old.
Modified Final Expense
This plan is called modified because it has a waiting period d before it pays the death benefit. If you are between 0 and 49 years old, it offers a 3 year waiting. For 50 to 85 years old, it offers 2 year waiting. This means that if you pass away before the required waiting period, you beneficiary will only get the premiums you paid plus interest.( 10% first year, 20% second year, 30% third year) Once the waiting period is over, it pays the full death benefit.
